More Diversity Or Dhimmitude?

I picked up the latest edition of the Oromocto-CFB Gagetown Post Gazette and saw the latest diversity news from the Department of National Defense. [warning: PDF file]
DND: Prior to Canadian Forces (CF) unification in 1968, the chaplains wore different hat badges consistent with their distinct service in the Army, Navy or Air Force. With Forces unification also came unification of many support classifications, the Chaplain Branch being one of them. The branch was awarded a common hat badge which was based on the original British Army pattern, modified with maple leaves to make it distinctly Canadian.

In order to better represent the diversity of Canadian society, and reflect the multi-faith nature of today’s chaplaincy, it was determined that the hat badges worn by CF chaplains should be updated and new designs have been adopted. [emphasis added]

As the Chaplain Branch is no longer exclusively Christian, the new hat badges are unified by a common theme, but bear the distinctive faith identifiers of the chaplains who will wear them.

In the center of the hat badge is a different symbol for each faith tradition: for Christian chaplains, the Maltese cross, which has long been associated with Christian chaplaincy. Jewish chaplains will wear the symbol of the tablets of the Law and the Magen David (the star of David) and Muslim chaplains will wear the crescent.

To best serve the needs of all CF members and their families, the Chaplain Branch will continue to evolve and keep pace with society’s values. The new badges, designed by CF heraldic artists, signify this important change and the chaplaincy’s unwavering commitment to minister to our own, to facilitate the worship of others, and to care for all. [emphasis added]
I wonder how Jewish chaplains managed to work for the Canadian military before now? Will there be new badges for Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists, Scientologists, Raliens? No, I doubt it. But we will have a new rainbow badge to help make gays feel welcome in the military. Soon we will have special recognition for the Taliban if the NDP have their way.

The surrender of all things Canadian to diversity has gotten out of hand. Will the future bring anything other than a complete separation of all persons (*cough*) into different ethnic groups with their own diversity encoded constitution? I think so.

I see no progress coming from the diversity crowd. Instead, I see a slow and deliberate attempt to turn Canada into a dhimmi nation. The surrender to dhimmitude will follow the radical secularization of the nation. Once that happens, all national documents will contain information that identifies the religious denomination of the bearer. And soon after, the flag of Islam will fly over Parliament.

14 Year Old "BOY" Slaughtered

Will the exempt media ever scream outrage at the slaughter of a Christian in a Muslim land? Nope. But, they will share stories about Madonna and other pop stars. Will Muslim groups condemn the killing of an innocent boy? Nope, they will remain as silent as they were when three teenage girls were beheaded in Indonesia? Never uttering a word.
(AINA)
According to the Assyrian website ankawa.com, a 14 year old Christian Assyrian boy, Ayad Tariq, from Baqouba, Iraq was decapitated at his work place on October 21.

Ayad Tariq was working his 12 hour shift, maintaining an electric generator, when a group of disguised Muslim insurgents walked in at the beginning of his shift shortly after 6 a.m. and asked him for his ID.

According to another employee who witnessed the events, and who hid when he saw the insurgents approach, the insurgents questioned Ayad after seeing that his ID stated "Christian", asking if he was truly a "Christian sinner." Ayad replied "yes, I am Christian but I am not a sinner." The insurgents quickly said this is a "dirty Christian sinner!" Then they proceeded to each hold one limb, shouting "Allahu akbar! Allahu akbar!" while beheading the boy.
Islam is the only religion butchering humans all over the world. But if you listen to the educated liberal elite, ring-wing Christians are the problem.

Right-wing Christians should be advised to begin a campaign to demand that Islam be banned. Islam is not a religion; it is a death cult.

Save the World-Ban Islam!

Layton Demonstrates His Loyalty To The Taliban

I don't like the NDP. I don't like any of their MPs or their supporters. And, I can't stand the sight of the leader of the NDP, Taliban Jack Layton. For it is men - and women - like Taliban Jack who are sowing the seeds of Canada's surrender to decadence and dhimmitude. It is men like Layton who are using the lives of Canada's soldiers to build a coalition of moonbats who wish to use our soldiers as political props whist undermining their duty to protect the country.
CTV.ca Groups of people rallied in cities and communities across Canada on Saturday, demanding the withdrawal of this country's troops from the NATO-led military mission in Afghanistan.

"Troops out now!" was a common chant by demonstrators across the country. Many seemed opposed to the fact Canada was involved in combat in Afghanistan, rather than carrying out a traditional peacekeeping mission.

There were nearly 200 people protesting and waving placards in Halifax, almost 500 marching in Montreal and 600 in Vancouver.

CTV News' Denelle Balfour reported there were several hundred people attending the Toronto rally, which gathered outside the downtown U.S. consulate.

Speaking from the Toronto rally, NDP Leader Jack Layton told CTV Newsnet that Canadians are not protesting to discourage the troops, but rather to support them.

"We are raising these questions to support our troops," Layton said. "Our job as citizens is to make sure we're asking them to do the right thing in the world ... there is a sense that this mission is the wrong mission for Canada and that it is not helping to achieve the goals we all have in mind for Afghanistan."
[...]
And this "edited out" fact:
CBC.ca Demonstrators calling for Canadian troops to be withdrawn from Afghanistan braved inclement weather in cities across the country to take part in rallies called by labour groups, peace activists and Muslim organizations.
Funny how the "groups of people" from the CTV story becomes "labour groups, peace activists and Muslim organizations" in the CBC story. Really, it's not so funny. The NDP are willing to sell out Canada to win the hearts and minds of Muslims who wish to see the return of the Taliban and who already demanded that Sharia Law be passed in Canada.

With the willing support of the exempt media, Taliban Jack hopes to create a Canada that is dangerous and duplicitous. And, with enough 'moonbat' apprentices graduating every year from illiberal arts programs, Layton will have enough supporters ready to brave the cold of winter to hold up signs that say the end is near.

Let's Have An Election - Canadians Can Decide: Corruption Or Good Government

The issue is fairly easy to understand - do Canadians wish to live in a false utopia ruled by decadence, greed and graft or do they wish to have a government that makes decisions based on the will of the majority? I have little faith that the former would win because Canadians have become soft headed, simpleminded and surly.
GlobeandMail:
OTTAWA -- Canada's political parties began road-testing potential election attack and defence strategies yesterday in the wake of a legislative slowdown that has hit Parliament just nine months after the election of the Conservative minority government.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper painted the opposition as obstructing his party's legislative agenda, while the Liberals tried to portray the Prime Minister as weak and unable to force through his agenda. They leaned on the Tories to compromise on key legislation such as the Accountability Act, justice measures and new environmental rules.

At a news conference yesterday, Mr. Harper castigated the Liberal-dominated Senate for proposing amendments to the Accountability Act. "The behaviour of the Liberal Party is arrogant and anti-democratic," Mr. Harper told reporters after a meeting with Mexican president-elect Felipe Calderon. "That's really the problem. They haven't accepted the decision of the electorate."

The Tories hope to win a majority government by demonstrating that the Liberals won't allow the passage of legislation that Canadians want.
[...]
Imagine living in a country where one political party - the NDP - is supported by cowards, creeps and the cunning, another party - the Bloc Quebecois - is committed to the country's destruction and a Quebec in the grip of socialist groupthink while the other major player - the Liberals - is committed to power, perversion and pedantry. The end result could be the complete unraveling of the federation.

Combine the above three options with a corrupt and biased exempt media that frowns upon anything or anyone that might rebuff or challenge the slippery slope of socialism, and you know that Canada is doomed.

The final breakup scenario will be decided after the next federal election. I say, bring on an election. If Canadians wish to live a life of futility, let the cards fall where they may. I'll be hiding in the woods listening to nature laughing.........

Youth Or Consequences?

You gotta laugh. You gotta LAUGH at the sheer clarity of exempt media dishonesty. You have to take it seriously though, because your neighbor is slowly - and certainly- being turned into a dumb citizen.

Leading the way in media dishonesty is the BBC.
BBCNews:
Youths in the Paris suburbs have attacked two buses in separate incidents on the eve of the anniversary of rioting among immigrant communities.

In Nanterre, north-west of Paris, about 10 passengers fled a bus as masked youths set it ablaze, police said.

A similar attack happened in Bagnolet, east of Paris, where a youth held a gun to the bus driver's head while others set it on fire, officials said.

Police report a spate of youth violence ahead of the anniversary.

Defence Minister Michele Alliot-Marie accused the youths of attempted murder in the latest incidents.

A security services report leaked to a French newspaper this week said that the conditions that led to last year's riots were still in place.

Several hundred youths, of largely African and North African descent, marched to the National Assembly in Paris on Wednesday to present a list of complaints to the government.

They called for more action to tackle discrimination and more jobs and training for the young.

"Lots of people don't believe what we're doing. They don't understand the potential," Abdel Zahiri, one of the marchers, told the Associated Press news agency.

"The risk of violence exists, but hope exists, too," he said. [emphasis added]

Monkey see, monkey do. All over the world, Muslims learn that violence begets attention. Attention begets more violence. Muslim YOUTH have learned their lessons well. It's too bad the BBC reporters and editors aren't able to learn that a disguised word - Muslim - ain't really youthful. Truth ain't youth.

But it gets better - or worse. Instead of editing their report to disguise the truth with youth, there is also editorializing using their own reporters.

[...]

Law and order have become major issues with presidential elections due next year.

Candidates from the two biggest parties have promised a tough approach to crime.

But according to the BBC's James Read, there has been less discussion of youth unemployment, social alienation and racial discrimination in impoverished suburban estates. [emphasis added]

Yep, the BBC don't need comments from anyone - they got a hold on opinionated staffers with an agenda - an agenda that says disguise the truth and blame the victims. Gee, kinda sounds familiar?
BBC News:
Australia's most senior Muslim cleric has prompted an uproar by saying that some women are attracting sexual assault by the way they dress.

Sheikh Taj el-Din al-Hilali said women who did not wear a hijab (head dress) were like "uncovered meat". [...]

I am getting sick of corrupt media reporting. And, I am getting sick of Muslims and their habitual threats, acts and orientation to violence and dishonesty.

The Darwin Disease Getting Nasty

Quebec is a society doomed to fail. Decades of unchecked liberalism have created a society in decline. Anyone that objects to the established groupthink is either punished or ridiculed. The power of the state is the principle arm of coercion while an overtly biased and corrupt media establishment are their key cheerleaders.
Globe and Mail:
Quebec has launched a crackdown on unlicensed evangelical schools, saying the province will shut down any institution that does not follow the provincial curriculum and teach Darwinism.

Education Minister Jean-Marc Fournier said yesterday some evangelical schools have been operating illegally in the province and teaching their own curriculum. All Quebec schools require a permit to instruct students.

"Schools that have a permit must of course follow the curriculum, which includes the teaching of Darwin's theory of evolution," Mr. Fournier said.

Elsewhere in Canada, governments tend not to interfere with what is taught in independent schools, unless a particular school is using the provincial curriculum.

Vern Rand, acting superintendent of Koinonia Christian Schools, said his nine evangelical, non-denominational schools in Alberta follow the provincially approved curriculum. Students are taught from a Christian worldview, but in biology class, for example, they also learn about evolution.

"We do teach the theory of evolution and we teach the truth of creation," Mr. Rand said. "We just feel that in order for students to be informed, they need to know both. And to really stress one at the expense of others, is that education?"
[...]
Where in the mainstream media do you hear any contradictory evidence or debate on Darwinism? Nowhere! And you won't because Darwinism is fake and junk science disguised as truth.
TheBigPicture:

A Review of the Darwin Chapters from Ann Coulter’s New Book

As you may have heard, Ann Coulter's new book, Godless, rejects Darwinism. When I first found out about this from an early review of the book, I fully expected this to prove an embarrassment to Ann. Even as I read the book, as I began those chapters (chapters 8 - 10), I expected them to be specious.

But in the storm of criticism of the book so far, there has not yet been one word from the scientific community, objecting to Ann's views (at least that I have seen). How is this possible?

The astonishing answer is that Coulter has founded all of her views on the published work of prominent scientific experts, and presented them in a very compelling and persuasive manner. In short, it appears possible that she may be right.

She begins by discussing the Darwinian assumption that the intricate structures of an organism evolved gradually, via one random mutation at a time:

[Lehigh University biochemist Michael] Behe produced various "irreducibly complex" mechanisms, of which there are thousand -- complex cellular structures, blood-clotting mechanisms, and the eye, among others. A bacterial motor, called a flagellum, depends on the coordinated interaction of 30-40 complex protein parts. The absence of almost any one of the parts would render the flagellum useless. An animal cell's whiplike oar, called a cilium, is composed of about 200 protein parts. Behe compared these cell parts to a simple mousetrap, with far fewer necessary components than a cilium or flagellum. Though there are only a few parts to a mousetrap, all of them have to be working together at one time for the contraption to serve any function whatsoever. If one of the parts i s missing, Behe says, you don't get a mousetrap that catches only half as many mice: you don't get a mousetrap at all. Behe then demonstrated that it is a mathematical impossibility for all 30 pats of the flagellum (or 200 parts of the cilium) to have been brought together by the "numerous, successive, slight modifications" of natural selection. Life at the molecular level, he concluded, "is a loud, clear piercing cry of design."

Coulter goes through the responses from the scientific community to Behe's work, and notes that while many said that "more research is needed," no one even attempted to disprove it.

The evolutionist's answer is Assume that each one of the hundreds of mutations necessary to create the final product is itself "fit" in ways we don't understand but must accept on faith because it's Holy Scripture.

...Evolutionists believe -- purely as a matter of faith -- that individual, unrelated mutations facilitated the production of all 200 necessary parts, completely by chance, and thus created the flagellum. And then they tell us they want to keep "faith" out of the classroom. Okay.

Coulter then details something I did not know about -- and I suspect most of those reading this did not either -- namely that there is no evidence in the fossil record to support the theory of the slow transformation of species into other species. Such evidence would be expected based on Darwin's classic work, "The Origin of Species."

It was a nice yarn Darwin had spun, but there was absolutely nothing in the fossil record to support it. Far from showing gradual change with one species slowly giving way to another, as Darwin hypothesized, the fossil record showed vast numbers of new species suddenly appearing out of nowhere, remaining largely unchanged for millions of years, and then disappearing (almost like there was a big flood or something.)

Coulter quotes David Raup, a geologist at Chicago's Field Museum of Natural History, who wrote in 1979:

[W]e are now about 120 years after Darwin and the knowledge of he fossil record has been greatly expanded. We now have a quarter of a million fossil species but the situation hasn't changed much. The record of evolution is still surprisingly jerky and, ironically, we have even fewer examples of evolutionary transitions than we had in Darwin's time. By this I mean that some of the classic cases of darwinian change in the fossil record, such as the evolution of the horse in North America, have had to be discarded or modified as a result of more detailed information -- what appeared to be a nice simple progression when relatively few data were available now appears to be much more complex and much less gradualistic.

Coulter comments:

Darwin's disciples simply assert that evolution led from this species to that by the process of random mutation -- with cruel nature striking down th genetic losers -- and to hell with the fossil record's showing nothing of the sort. At some point, it's not even pseudo-science anymore, it's just a crazy religious cult.

Coulter provides a massive amount of facts, examples, and evidence along these lines.

I've got a lifelong interest in the advances of science, and a couple of Master's Degrees (although neither is in science), and I'd never heard about this in my life. Coulter gives many examples of why this might be. Schools which attempt to discuss these facts in class are sued by the ACLU; scholars who attempt to publish on these items have been fired.

At this point, I can only consider this mind-blowing. It's too far-reaching for me even to feel comfortable stating at this instant that I am convinced Coulter is right (although I'm mighty close being convinced.) I have to hear the response from the scientific community.

Which makes the silence to date from that community, deafening.

Can it possibly be, that we are in the exact same state as our ancestors, who condemned Galileo for saying the Earth traveled around the sun? Can we be as ignorant as they were, punishing anyone who disagrees with an official view of the world which is without basis in fact?

We know that we as humans can find "the unknown" to be frightening; can it possibly be that we are still so far from understanding enough about how we can have come into existence on this earth, that we must use lawsuits and firings to prevent people from discussing that lack of understanding, out of an inability to face that (irrational) fear?

Liberals.............explain please?

A Story Without a Dog Is Dead News

It's a dog's world, that's for sure. Call a bitch a dog and the exempt media run story after story until the public consumer turns zombie-like and follows the media script into an abyss. Tell a story about teens on drugs and the story will surely die. In fact, there will be no critical analysis, debate or statistics, further questioning or insight because escalating drug use amongst teenagers doesn't fit the liberal vision of a screwed up society.

Example:
CBC.ca
The Portage Youth Centre, which treats young people for drug and alcohol addiction, is hoping to raise $1.2 million to upgrade its facility in Sussex, N.B. The centre helps adolescents from across Atlantic Canada overcome drug and alcohol problems. It also helps them catch up on their education.

Centre director Geordie Gould said as many as 50 students are in treatment for six to eight months at a time, and the building is bursting at the seams.

The centre's two classrooms are shoehorned into a five-trailer assembly which also includes offices. Students are often forced to sit in the hallways because the classrooms can't hold everyone, Gould said.

There is no gymnasium, but Gould said the worst problem is the boy's dorm in the basement. "It's not quite submarine standard, but it could be a lot more comfortable for developing better self-esteem and self-confidence and feeling more comfortable in the environment," he said.
[...]

More than 1,000 youths have passed through the centre since it opened more than a decade ago.

Why is there a facility for teens?

Who are the teens? What are their ages? Where are they from? How did they get hooked on drugs? What kind of drugs? What is their family background?

Is drug use a growing problem in the schools?

The answers and analysis will never dominate the front pages because dogs are more important that humans.

I find it interesting that drugs are a MASSIVE problem in the school system (I know this from personal experience) and that there is limited media coverage of the problem. In fact, there have been numerous pot statistics out that should frighten any enlightened person. Could it be that a biased, drugged exempt media feel guilt talking about a problem they created? I think so.

Teens on drugs. Teens are on drugs and many begin at age 12. You won't hear much talk from the exempt media. But, you will hear stories about a bitch.

It's Monday, and I Ain't Liberal

Therefore, I'm happy.

I'm happy to believe Belinda Stronach is a dog, and don't care what other people believe.

I'm happy to know that Islam is a dangerous death cult, and I avoid and expose it for what it is.

I'm happy to read blogs and world news sites, comforted by the knowledge I obtain by ignoring the exempt media.

I am happy to be opened minded, but glad that my mind shuts off when someone thinks America is the problem.

I'm glad I'm a Christian. Christmas and Easter still mean something to me.

I'm glad I live in New Brunswick. One day I will lead a conservative revolution here.

I'm glad I Blog. And I am glad I ain't a liberal.

Is THIS A Threat? Or More Blah, Blah, Blah

Let's see, a madman wants nuclear weapons, some western fools think it's ok, while others say don't worry. Sounds like some 'others' are mad too?
YahooNews:
TEHRAN (AFP) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called Israel a "counterfeit and illegitimate regime that cannot survive", in a live broadcast on state television.

"The Zionist regime is counterfeit and illegitimate and cannot survive," he said in a speech to a crowd in the town of Islamshahr in southwestern Tehran.

"The big powers have created this fraud regime and allowed it to commit all kind of crimes to guarantee their interests," he added.
Isolated statement?
YahooNews:
TEHRAN, Iran - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Friday threatened any country that supports Israel", and said the United States and its allies had "imposed a group of terrorists" on the region with their support of the Jewish state.
More Blah, Blah?
YahooNews:
TEHRAN (AFP) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has predicted Israel would collapse and warned that its allies face the "boiling wrath" of the people if they continue to support the Jewish state.
I doubt if the liberal ilk of the world understand realism. If they did, they might wish to hide....

The Best News All Day - Garth Turner Turfed

You know it was a great day when the smiling faces of CBC reporters lit up their late night broadcast with enough bias to feed the corrupted for another day. You know it was a great day when another idiot gets his dues. Bye, bye Garth. I never liked you.

Garth Turner, Belinda Stronach and Joe Clark all enjoy the same life byline; their lives are inflicted with a form of political non sense that makes liberals salivate and biased journalists celebrate. It's too bad that none of them understand that they have lead lives that are not worthy of mention in anything other than a book of fools. Bye, bye Garth. I never respected you.

As the exempt media celebrate another fresh kill, the sputtering sound you hear is that of a man doomed to be fodder for another meal served up to the decadent and corrupt. Bye, bye Garth. Your tastes were bittersweet.

On the very day that the national media were celebrating a self-serving poll showing the Liberals and Tories tied at 32 percent, you know that a Garth is like added cream in a latte. Bye, bye Garth; you are now a hero to the biased journalists who serve up a daily dish of smug.

So, while the chattering classes welcome another link to their chain of decadence and doom, I celebrate the dethroning of another fool.

Bye bye Garth. I won't miss you.

The Insanity Of Islam?

I don't know what's worse - converting from Islam or converting to, either way, your life will be in danger.
BBCNews:
The kidnappers of an Italian journalist in Afghanistan have offered to free him in exchange for a Christian convert who fled the country, an aid agency says.

Photojournalist Gabriele Torsello was seized last Thursday while travelling in a bus in southern Afghanistan.

The kidnappers say they will release Mr Torsello - a Muslim convert - if Abdul Rahman returns from Italy where he was offered asylum earlier this year.

Mr Rahman had escaped a possible death sentence for becoming a Christian.

He had been charged with rejecting Islam and released this March after being deemed mentally unfit to stand trial on a charge of apostasy.

He then fled to Italy where he was offered asylum.

Mr Torsello's kidnappers placed their demand in a phone call to the head of security at a hospital run by an Italian aid agency in Afghanistan.

The kidnappers said they would release Mr Torsello if Mr Rahman returned home from Italy - the exchange should take place before the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, they added. [....]

Does Islam get any more idiotic?

I think not!

"Boycott Indonesia--Stop Murdering Christians Now!"

Isn't Islam nice?

Civil war is in the air in Indonesia. Christians are daily being slaughtered and the government does little to protect them.

Two of our longtime blog-friends, Stan the Infidel and Big White Infidel, are furious over the treatment of Christians in Indonesia. What the media paints as 'sectarian violence' is really Muslim persecution of Christian minorities.

Stan and Big White are headed to Rev. Irianto Kongkoli's funeral in Palu. Rev. Kongkoli was a Christian minister gunned down in public early this morning. This comes on the heels of a bombing on Saturday and after three Christians were executed for their alleged participation in sectarian violence. Violence that has largely targetted Christians and over which no Muslim has been prosecuted.

If their reaction is any gauge of Christian sentiment in Indonesia, then expect an escalation of the violence. Especially pay attention to Stan's extended comments here.

I would urge the Christians of Indonesia, and especially our friends Stan and Big White, towards self-restraint and non-violence. Not that I am a pacifist, I am not, but I am a realist. One should only fight battles if they can win. This is not a battle that can be won through violence.

There is something that you can do to show your solidarity with Indonesia's persecuted Christians. Boycott Indonesia.

Read the comments and follow their links. It's Wake Up time.

My Gosh, these people are weird........

I just don't know. Or, I just don't get it. Either way, I still think that Islam is the weirdest cult in the history of the world. Trouble is, Islam and its adherents are also the greatest threat to the history of the world.

As I begin this new week, I scan some blogs and see that Islam, Muslims and their kin are dominating the news. Trouble is, there are too many real issues being ignored while Islamic fascism spreads.

Yep, bleak start to the week, but more news to follow.

End The "Veiled" Threat

I saw it myself in Halifax at a fruit and vegetable market; a woman following her 'man' through the maze of offerings while hidden under a head-to-toe shroud. I was outraged then, as I am now, that our Charter of Rights and Freedoms were being used to oppress and separate people.
Margaret Wente: (registration required)
Whenever I see a woman in a veil walking down the street, I get a chill. I'm not talking about women in head scarves, or even women dressed entirely in black. I'm talking about the full shroud, with only a slit left for the eyes. Not many women dress like this in Canada, but I'm seeing more and more, at least a couple every week.

To me, the niqab -- the face veil -- is deeply alienating. Yes, I know some women wear it out of choice, and some say it gives them freedom. But to me, it's a powerful symbol of cultural separation and gender oppression. Am I wrong to feel so uneasy? Who should adapt -- the veiled ones, or me?

In tolerant, conflict-averse Canada, it's almost taboo to ask this question. But, in Britain, where the clash of cultures is infinitely more troublesome, the niqab has sparked a huge and heated debate. The latest to weigh in is Salman Rushdie, who agrees with me. He says the veil "sucks."
[....]

"The growing number of women veiling their faces in Britain is a sign of radicalization," wrote Saira Khan (a Muslim) in The Times. "It sends out a clear message: 'I do not want to be part of your society.' " She argued that veiling is particularly wrong in Britain, where it is "alien to the mainstream culture for someone to walk around wearing a mask." Then she said what many people feel but nobody will say: "If you don't like living here and don't want to integrate, then what the hell are you doing here?"

"I find the veil offensive," wrote Yasmin Alibahai-Brown, who said it is invariably connected to the most repressive forms of Islam. A woman in a niqab, she says, is just as much the victim of sexual objectification as a half-naked woman in a tube top. "The niqab expunges the female Muslim presence from the landscape and hands the world over to men."

Across Europe, there has been a sea change in the debate over multiculturalism. Today, moderates such as Mr. Straw are raising the sort of questions that used to be confined to the far right. There is a growing sentiment that immigrants should be more like "us" -- if not in dress, then certainly in values -- and a spreading unease that some Muslims and the mainstream may not be able to co-exist. The trouble with the veil is not simply that it makes conversation difficult. It is that it stands for a set of behaviours and beliefs that are fundamentally incompatible with those of a liberal democracy. Take off your veils, ladies. I beg you.
Multiculturalism is wrong when it permits conduct that is inconsistant with the cultural values of the majority. It may make liberals feel good about their decadence but it is does nothing for the long-term good of society.

A veiled face is dangerous cover. It's time to change the rules.

Talk, Talk, Blah, Blah de death......

The Sudan is a daily reminder why talk, talk ain't making any difference. More talk in North Korea ain't doing anything either. Oh yes, I know, it is always the Americans fault, but liberals are stupid, so I don't pay much attention to their fraudulent talk.

When will the world state emphatically that living in a free and democratic state is a universal human right? Um, never, because liberals like groupthink in its purest state - totalitarianism.
BBCnews:
North Korea's second most powerful leader has threatened more nuclear tests if the US maintains its "hostile" policy, Japanese media report.

Kim Yong-nam said the decision depended on how the US treated North Korea, Japan's Kyodo news agency said.

North Korea's foreign ministry said the country would consider any increase in US pressure to be an "act of war".
While the world acts rattled by the sound of North Korean tests, I say bomb the bastrads now! Before it is too late.

Here You Go Liberals - Explain Away This

Do you remember the brouhaha when two Fox News reporters were forced to convert to Islam under the threat of death? Cowards, they were. Here is another example of Islam unveiled, except this time the hostages refused to convert.
ANS News Service:
MUZAFFARABAD, PAKISTAN (ANS) -- In an horrific incident of Christian persecution on September 1, some unidentified militants slew two children of a missionary couple who is working with At Any Cost Jesus Mission, a underground ministry evangelizing to the Muslim nations.

A press release sent via e-mail to ANS by Any Cost Jesus Mission said that the assailants torched the dead bodies of teenaged children Shalom, 15 and Sharon 14 after murdering them brutally in the northern district of Pakistan.

The teenaged victims according to the press release were secondary school students.

“Shalom and Sharon were kidnapped along with their missionary parents and two other younger sisters 10 days before the murder.

The militants asked them to convert to Islam but they refused,” said the press release. “So the militants killed Shalom first. Then they raped the girl and cut one of her breasts in front of her parents. She too died”, the press release quoted another underground missionary, Habel who it said broke the news to Any Cost Jesus Mission from a hidden place.

“Police and the military forces are backing the militants. Habel and his family was also attacked and their house was burnt but the Lord enabled them to escape to a hidden place. They (militants) also demolished a church and some houses were set on fire too”, the evangelization ministry claimed in the press release.

According to the press release the militants set the motorbike on fire by spraying petrol on it and left the dead bodies in a ditch along with a motorbike.

“The police declared a false statement that it was an accident and the petrol tank of the bike was open when they fell into the ditch and burnt by a spark”, alleged Any Cost Jesus Mission.

The press release said that the believers are living in a grip of fear and trouble following the killing of Shalom and Sharon.

The ministry further claimed in the press release that the militants are not allowing believers to pray.

“They are not even allowed to speak a single word about Christ or Christianity or Christians”, the press release quoted Habel as saying. [emphasis added]
Islam is truly evil. But what is more evil is the silence of the exempt media. Day in and day out, there are numerous examples of persecution of Christians and other minority religions in the Islamic fascist world. Silence = Support.

So, while some grown men agree to convert to the religion of evil, two young teenagers say no and pay the horrific price.

God bless the children....

Anybody But A Liberal

Yeah, this will be another anti-liberal rant. Except this time, I'm going to be nasty.
Here is what got my goat (so to speak).
Former foreign affairs minister Lloyd Axworthy is urging Liberals to elect almost anybody but Michael Ignatieff as party leader on grounds the Toronto MP would rob the Liberals of a clear alternative to the Conservative government on the likeliest wedge issue of the next election: Canada's military mission in Afghanistan. [...]

Axworthy says Ignatieff is a creation of "downtown Toronto powerbrokers" who does not understand liberalism, has no common touch and will lead the Liberals to another defeat by robbing them of a policy on Afghanistan that is distinct from the government. Axworthy and Rae say the military mission has tilted too far away from peacekeeping and reconstruction."

Afghanistan is going to be the wedge issue in the next election
," Axworthy said. "Mr. Ignatieff has shown horrible, bad political judgment on that issue. And he wasn't just a supporter of the war in Iraq, he was an outspoken apologist and advocate for it. It would make it impossible for a Liberal party to provide an alternative to the Conservative government if he was leader."
There are times when I wish I could be in a room alone with certain liberals. One liberal that I wish to be alone with is Lloyd Axworthy. But romance ain't on my mind. If I was alone in a room with Lloyd Axworthy I would beat the living crap out of the man. Yep, I would. I wouldn't waste my time on dialogue and respectful conversation. That would be a waste of my time and a useless activity for anyone because liberals are brain dead bastards with the moral clarity of a prostitute. Money and power are all that liberals hunger. They would send out men and women to war in order to play political games later if it suited their political interests.

Yep, I would beat the living crap out of Lloyd Axworthy in a heartbeat, because it is bastards like him that kill the human heart, confuse the mind and paralize humanity. And I would revel in the chance to kick the s**t out of him, watch him tremble with fear after 'learning" that some people don't take too kindly to modern liberal freaks that would use our soldier's lives to score short-term political points. But fear not Mr Axworthy, I won't slit your throat, leave you dead on the floor and then rush out a video copy of your execution.

But I could.

Yes, Off With The Veils and On With assimilation

Oh, oh, a 'liberal' has opened a can of worms.
Telegraph:
Jack Straw provoked anger yesterday by suggesting that community relations would be helped if Muslim women did not wear full veils.

The Leader of the Commons disclosed that for the past year he had been asking women who visited his constituency office to remove their veils so that he could see them face-to-face. He always made sure that he was accompanied by a female member of staff and so far no constituent had refused to lift her veil.

Mr Straw said that wearing the full veil was bound to make "better, positive relations" between communities more difficult, as it could be seen "as a visible statement of separation and difference". He had felt "uncomfortable" whenever a woman had worn one in his Blackburn constituency office. [ed: emphasis added]
Dressed in a head-to-toe veil that covers every part of the human body, except the eyes, does cause separation and difference. And that ain't good for society. Nope. But read the reactions and you know that multiculturalism and diversity is nothing more than fascism in waiting.

"Does Mr Straw mean that people should give up certain cultural and religious customs and practices simply because a vast majority of the country do not share them?
- Answer:
Yes. Female genital mutilation ain't legal.

"That is calling for assimilation. That is saying that one culture or one way of life is superior to another.
-Answer:
Yes, our western society IS superior to anything that is available in the Islamic world. That's why so many people die trying to reach our shores.

"If we are truly multicultural, we have to accept that there will be women who want to dress in this way."
-Answer:
Nope. We don't have to accept any deviations from accepted standards of conduct and dress. Some people believe nudity is OK in a public space but the vast majority do not.

And here comes the clincher reaction from another "moderate" Muslim:

Dr Reefat Drabu, the chairman of the social and family affairs committee of the Muslim Council of Great Britain, said: "If Mr Straw thinks this is going to break down barriers, it isn't. If anything, it is going to alienate Muslim women and be a catalyst for more of them to wear the veil and prove a point."

She added: "If you are trying to build bridges, you need to listen to what Muslims are saying. The problems that alienate women are to do with foreign policy and no one seems to take any notice of that. This country is supposed to celebrate diversity. That is the wonderful thing about this country: that it accepts, that it is tolerant. Women who wear the veil are making the statement that they are separate from society and that is why they wear
it." [ed. emphasis added]

Now that's a stretch. Foreign policy is alienating women? Barf! Perhaps those alienated women might wish to return to their native lands or Afghanistan and feel liberated by Saudi style or Taliban style diversity.

I wish Muslims would shut the f*** up. I am sick of listening to their veiled threats and demands. Fed up! Let them all take a cruise line back home. Western society is what it is because of its heritage.

Muhammad, take off those veils......

The Root Of All Evil?

Instead of writing, I will read.

Instead of reading fiction, I will read non-fiction.

Instead of cowering in fear like most liberals, I will stand tall.

Once I've read, I will write.

And When Reconstruction & Peacemaking Still Gets You Killed - Then What?

Liars are everywhere.

The leader of the NDP, Taliban Jack Layton, and poll watchers in the Liberal Party of Canada like to recite a similar mantra; the mission in Afghanistan should be about peacemaking and providing aid to reconstruction. Yep, it's such an easy thing to wish for.
Problem:
Emboldened insurgents killed two Canadian soldiers and wounded five others Tuesday in an attack on ground the Canadians took from the Taliban just weeks ago.

The small group of soldiers were providing security for road construction
, holding an observation post in the former Taliban heartland about 20 kilometres west of Kandahar city when they came under attack around 4:50 p.m. from a handful of insurgents armed with rocket-propelled grenades and assault rifles.
[...]
"In this particular case, we were clearing an area to put in a road that would have allowed the economy to flow north and south through the Panjwaii area," Lewis said. "We've got to remain vigilant to the Taliban reinfiltrating into the area."
May all members of the NDP and the liars of the Liberal Party of Canada rot in hell. I hope one day they pay for their lack of intelligence, their devotion to incompetence and their insistence on being anti-Canadian.

I am not fooled by fools.

Breeding Ignorance Shows Results

It's hard to put a finger on an exact phrasing or an overt and deliberate statement, but the exempt media have been pushing an anti-Bush, anti-conservative agenda for so long that when I see any poll that conforms to their agenda I sigh with embarrassment for the respondents.
GlobeandMail:
The Decima Research survey, published Monday, showed that 59 per cent of respondents agreed with the statement that Canadian soldiers "are dying for a cause we cannot win."”
I guess 59% of 2000 respondents might not agree with the old adage that lost causes are the only things worth fighting for? Or, they might agree with Jack Layton that negotiating with terrorists is better than fighting against them? Maybe they also believe that the US government orchestrated 9/11, filmed the terrorists in Afghanistan, wrote Osama's statements and scripted the Pope's last major speech?

Sigh.

The world is filled with idiots, made that way by a biased and corrupt media establishment.

A Must Read For Dim-witted Socialists & Lazy Liberals

Dear over educated liberals, socialists and friends,

The situation in Zimbabwe continues to worsen.

People are starving, inflation is soaring, the economy is dead.

Will you help?
TorontoSun:
The human rights crowd in our country want Canadian troops to quit Afghanistan and go instead to Darfur in Sudan.

They and their hangers-on (Jack Layton), apparently want the people of Afghanistan abandoned because it’s dangerous there for Canadian soldiers. Aiding the wretched of Darfur will be a little safer.

That’s par for the course among some homegrown humanitarians, whose brains are often as soft as their hearts.

One oppressed country that humanitarians prefer to ignore is Zimbabwe, arguably the most tyrannical, neo-Marxist regime in Africa — which the Jean Chretien government tried to bail out by forgiving loans, and by supporting Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe against international condemnation.

Now that he’s no longer PM, Chretien has been silent about Mugabe, who runs his country along the lines of Stalin and is despised almost as much as he is feared.

Most African leaders resist criticizing Mugabe, with the possible exception of Botswana, Senegal and Ghana. I’d argue this makes most of them collaborators or cowards, and is reason enough not to support them with economic aid.

In Canada, we don’t hear much about Zimbabwe and its reckless race to economic and social ruin and human misery.

When he was elected president after Rhodesia became Zimbabwe in 1980, Mugabe was philosophically a Marxist but pragmatically a private enterprise entrepreneur, openly grateful to Ian Smith for making his “new” country self-sufficient and the envy of Africa.

It didn’t last long. Even 20 years ago, Zimbabwe was approaching economic chaos (no metal for toothpaste tubes, soap shortages, black market prices for foreign currency, stores with empty shelves, travel restrictions, etc.).

This week, one of the courageous figures of Zimbabwe spoke about Mugabe’s tyranny. Pius Ncube, Catholic Archbishop of Bulawayo, was interviewed by Anna Maria Tremonti, host of CBC Radio’s The Current.

Mugabe’s a cheat, liar

A soft-spoken, gentle man, Ncube is one of those with the courage to be brave. He’s called Mugabe evil, a cheat, a liar and in return Mugabe has called him “unholy” and satanic. But for his religion, Ncube would likely be dead or in prison.

He acknowledges that he’s said the best hope for Zimbabwe would be if Mugabe were to die. That sounds a bit odd from a religious man, but it’s true — especially since Mugabe is 82 and has just said he will postpone the scheduled 2008 elections to 2010. He has no plans to retire, apparently fearing he’ll be hauled before the International Court to face charges of crimes against humanity.

When Mugabe began seizing white-owned farms to give to his supporters and phony war veterans, it guaranteed starvation for Zimbabwe. Today, maybe 25% of Zimbabwe’s 12.5 million people are without food.

Last year, Mugabe launched Operation Murambatsvina — Shona for “get rid of trash” — which meant destroying shantytowns and roadside vendors in Harare, Bulawayo, Victoria Falls and other centres. The homeless were trucked out of cities and back to the land. The result — some 400,000 more people with no place to live.

Inflation at 1,200%

An indication of how bad things are economically is that in 2001 inflation in Zimbabwe was 70%, while today it is 1,200% — the highest in the world. The International Monetary Fund predicts the inflation rate will soon rise to 4,000%.

In 2001, unemployment was around 60%, today it’s over 80%. Money is so tight that there’s none to spare on relief, yet the government has apparently allotted $100 million for 30 riot vehicles and water cannons, and anti-riot gear for the police and army.

Zimbabwe under Mugabe is a symptom of what’s wrong with Africa. As long it is tolerated (and the African Union remains silent), despotism will prevail.

Worry about Darfur, by all means, but also recognize the tragedy that unfolds daily in Zimbabwe where the soulmate of Josef Stalin holds sway.
Um - you said no - gee, thanks........you are so nice........and so typically a modern liberal......

Why Liberals Bore Me

On Friday afternoon I listened briefly to Tom Young's interview with leadership candidate Scott Brison. Brison was one of several candidates being interviewed by the all [liberal] news radio station. Stephane Dion had been interviewed too, while others were supposed to be interviewed. But it was Scott Brison's comments that made my eyes roll with boredom - liberals lie. Brison said he was the only candidate that fought Stephen Harper and won. He was referring to his personal defense of Liberal Party corruption during question period while he was Minister of Public Works in the previously inept Martin government. Brison also said he stood for values that were opposite of Prime Minister Harper's values, implying that only a pretty gay guy is capable of holding the right human values.

I'm glad Brison is a liberal. He and his ilk bore me with their patronizing silliness. He and other liberals bore me with their fake sincerity, boastful bullshit and vexing visionary commentary. Liberals bores me with their academic prattle and their orientation towards gutterism and decadence. They pretend to be people-people when really they are predators.

Liberals are dangerous people. They cling to other people like bad breath. They move about society like raccoons while stinking up the neighborhood like skunks. Liberals are sneaky like a fox when they sense power.

Liberals bore me with their typical political routines and scripted humanity.

As the liberals vote on their delegates to a national convention, it's sad that the only people that care about them are political junkies and their exempt media friends.

Liberals bore me with their existence.....
