2004 Peace = The Rise of Evil

The cliche teenaged street protestors carrying 'Peace not War' signs will soon be replaced by other protestors carrying signs that will warn: Islam not War.

2004 will be remembered as the year when hate towards Christian values and leaders became popular.
2004 will be remembered as the year when The Passion of the Christ rose above the hate to send one last reminder.
2004 will be remembered as the year when Europe discovered that hate could thrive in a tolerant society.
2004 will be remembered as the year when the power of God went unnoticed.
2004 will be remembered as the year when throwing stones in a house of glass caused no damage!

"Equal Rights" Propaganda Exposed

Canada is one nation that has fallen victim to the equal marriage propaganda. The Liberal Party and its operatives have used every imaginable trick to deceive Canadians. Our apathy has allowed corrupt public officials to redefine our values, rendering Canada a eunuch nation.

"Every special interest group has an incentive to take something away from society as a whole. Some will be content just to siphon off a share of the taxpayers' money for themselves. Others, however, want to dismantle a part of the structure of values that make a society viable."

Let's hope that in 2005 Canadians awake!

Letters To The Editor Can Be Organized Propaganda?

"Propaganda has a bad name, but its root meaning is simply to disseminate through a medium, and all writing therefore is propaganda for something. It’s a seeding of the self in the consciousness of others." - Elizabeth Drew

Reading a newspaper is becoming increasingly difficult. The average reader has to suffer the literary ambitions of writers that toss around historical references and biggie words in a manner that creates more confusion rather than improving insight. But there is more.

Once the reader has gotten past the verbose and smug, they have to contend with bias. Too many of the reporters and writers in newspapers hold or attempt to hide their personal political thinking. The result is a reader with one perspective and limited knowledge. And there are more reading challenges.

The editorial page used to be the section of the newspaper where one-sided opinion was deliberately placed. In the same section was the letters to the editor where everyday folk voiced their personal opinions. But times have changed. The letter to the editor is the latest propaganda tool of political and social activists pretending independence while actually being partisans. You can't trust anything these days.

Shame: Record Budget Surplus Zero Record Aid

Canadians need to wake up.

Despite the bragging about record budget surpluses, Canada continues to lead the world in one arena only: being smug and pretentious while human suffering increases. Instead of trying to show moral leadership, Canada's political class (the Liberal Family Compact) is using the crisis in South East Asia to play leftist technocrat while trying to 'one-up' American contributions.

Canadians should be embarrassed by their government's anemic effort.

As The World Suffers, Canada Suffers More Fools !

The latest twist of a Canadian parent gone completely mad deserves special attention in my blog. It was bad enough that a New Brunswick Human Rights Commission declared young girls have the right to change into their hockey equipment with young boys, it is outrageous that the trend continues in Ontario.

Stupid parents are everywhere and they breed stupid children that require the intervention of the state everytime their stupid feelings are hurt.

I am beginning to think that the Holy Grail of Liberalism, the Charter of Rights, is becoming the instrument of our national embarrassment. There is no wisdom to be gained from a charter that allows stupid people to make a mockery of common-sense.

"The arbitrary rule of a just and enlightened prince is always bad.
His virtues are the most dangerous and the surest form of seduction:
they lull a people imperceptibly into the habit of loving, respecting, and serving his successor, whoever that successor may be, no matter how wicked or stupid."

Gee, What A Surprise: China Spies

A nation that is dedicated to the power of the state sends spies abroad, stealing national secrets and we are supposed to be surprised? I'm not. China is a Communist country that does not respect basic human rights (versus the modern liberal human rights) and, like most dictatorships, cannot be trusted.

Considering the number of Canadian businesses that are tripping out trying to get a foothold in China, the prospects of anyone in Ottawa doing anything to stop the sneaky exploits is close to nil.

Drifting Towards Trouble

Every now and then a story about pension shortages appears in the news. Many of Canada's top corporations have been in the byline. Disasters happen when we ignore the subtle warnings.

Why is it, more often than not, that our governments appear to be behind the proverbial eight ball? Where is the long-range vision, or the proactive legislation to safeguard the average worker? Considering how trendy and popular leadership training is these days, it would make sense that we should be producing many more leaders who have the vision and knowledge to lead. Sadly, it ain't happening. Possibly because you cannot teach vision to the blind or wisdom to the knowledgeable.

"The ability to think straight, some knowledge of the past, some vision of the future, some skill to do useful service, some urge to fit that service into the well-being of the community -- these are the most vital things education must try to produce."- Virginia Gildersleeve

WMD Alert

"As equality increases, so does the number of people struggling for predominance." - Mason Cooley

The women of mass destruction, those feminists that want equality when it suits their agenda, aren't so equality oriented when men are the victim.

Some men have been 'onto' the fraudulent agenda for years. The 'other' men are those eunuchs that are too afraid to speak up, preferring to let a heretic girl defend their rights.

And, as this story demonstrates, restricting free speech will overtake equality as the agenda of the dishonest, the immoral and the deceitful.

Mass Liberal Corruption

The more I read about Liberal government tactics, the more I rage.

There is no doubt in my mind that when a 'system' becomes corrupt, the 'system' begets more corruption. And the corrupted produce corrupt offspring.

"Last month, Mr. Martin said Marc Khouri, the director of parliamentary affairs in Ms. Sgro's office, and senior Sgro aide Rene Ouellet read him a list of applications for temporary resident permits from people in his Winnipeg-Centre riding and implied they would be denied if he continued to criticize Ms. Sgro in the Commons. Ms. Ablonczy said Mr. Khouri made the same threat on Nov. 17 to Jason Valentin, who works in her Parliament Hill office."

Peace On Earth, Good Will To Men

Peace On Earth, Good Will To Men

I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And thought how, as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had rolled along
The unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
Till ringing, singing on its way,
The world revolved from night to day,
A voice, a chime,
A chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
Then from each black, accursed mouth
The cannon thundered in the South,
And with the sound
The carols drowned
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
It was as if an earthquake rent
The hearth-stones of a continent,
And made forlorn
The households born
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And in despair I bowed my head;
"There is no peace on earth," I said;
"For hate is strong,
And mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!"
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
"God is not dead, nor doth He sleep;
The Wrong shall fail,
The Right prevail,
With peace on earth, good-will to men."

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

The Wexford Carol
Good people all, this Christmas-time,

Consider well and bear in mind
What our good God for us has done
In sending his beloved Son.
With Mary holy we should pray
To God with love this Christmas day;
In Bethlehem upon that morn
There was a blessed Messiah born.

The night before that happy tide
The noble Virgin and her guide
Were long time seeking up and down
To find a lodging in the town.
But mark how all things came to pass;
From every door repelled alas!
As long foretold, their refuge all
Was but an humble ox's stall.

There were three wise men from afar

Directed by a glorious star,
And on they wandered night and day
Until they came where Jesus lay,
And when they came unto that place
Where our beloved Messiah was,
They humbly cast them at his feet,
With gifts of gold and incense sweet.

Near Bethlehem did shepherds keep

Their flocks of lambs and feeding sheep;
To whom God's angels did appear,
Which put the shepherds in great fear.
"Prepare and go", the angles said.
'To Bethlehem, be not afraid,
For there you'll find this happy morn,
A princely babe, sweet Jesus born.

With thankful heart and joyful mind,
The shepherds went the babe to find,
And as God's angel had foretold,
They did our savior Christ behold.
Within a manger he was laid,
And by his side the virgin maid,
Attending on the Lord of life,
Who came on earth to end all strife.

Newfoundland Gives Canada Flag The Boot

Danny Williams is as mad as hell and he ain't going to take it any more. And who can blame him? How many decades have to pass before Newfoundland enjoys prosperity? If Newfoundland had been a US territory or State, it would be a rich American territory or State.

When Newfoundland voted to join confederation, the vote was by a tiny margin. It is no secret that corruption won over democracy and those forces continue to work today to marginalize and impoverish the great people of Newfoundland and Labrador!

Sex Ed To Lower The Standards

It is not surprising that a NB sex-ed curriculum is making 'some' parents very worried. A typical response from a local sex therapist, "The choice is between them having incorrect information and correct information." Hmmm. What is correct information?

Other parents shirk their responsibility, leaving the moral education of their children to the 'state.'

The choice is really between knowledge and wisdom; educators provide knowledge while parents supply wisdom. Sadly, we are living in an era where wisdom is repudiated and knowledge is sacrosanct.

Same Old Media Induced Whine

The Prime Minister is taking a vacation. Does he risk flying on a commercial airliner? Does he rent his own jet to protect himself? The answer is a simple no!

I wish journalists would spend more time investigating crooks like this, instead of subjecting us to another red-herring. Imagine how much money taxpayers could save if journalists spent as much time counting business misteps as they do counting politician's logical actions.

Liberal Thieves By Any Other Name Steals Just As Quick

Justice Gomery has much to do. Aside from having to untangle years of Liberal corruption, deceit and cover-up, he has to do his work while former and current Liberal insiders throw volleys from the sidelines attempting to discredit his efforts. (scroll down)

Each day, the Gomery inquiry learns how many of Canada's (once) sacred icons have been besmirched by corruption and greed.

Will we ever learn the extent of Liberal corruption? I doubt it. I'm waiting to hear someone use national security as one of their excuses. In the meantime, I want to know where the 1000 Bluenose prints are hanging? My initial guess is that they are hanging on the wall of Liberal Party donors.

Be Confident and Say Merry Christmas

With less than a week to go before Christians celebrate the birth of the Christ child, a bigger task is morphing excess Christmas shopping; defending the right to celebrate Christmas.

Leading the defense of Christians is a Jew. It is comforting that a non-Christian thinks the anti-religious sentiments of radical secularists are a danger to all religious beliefs. But those that claim that they are Christian need to do more.

The Pope recently waded into the issue, reminding Christians "to keep the symbols of Christmas, the nativity crib and the tree, at the centre of their celebrations."

More and more Christians are fighting back against religious intolerance of Christian symbols. Bless them.

"It was the calm and silent night!
Seven hundred years and fifty-three
Had Rome been growing up to might,
And now was queen of land and sea.
No sound was heard of clashing wars,
Peace brooded o’er the hushed domain;
Apollo, Pallas, Jove, and Mars
Held undisturbed their ancient reign
In the solemn midnight,
Centuries ago."

A Wise Choice: A Wise Leader

This paragraph sums up the wisdom of the man, "An ordinary politician tells swing voters what they want to hear; Bush invited them to vote for him because he refused to. Ordinary politicians need to be liked; Bush finds the hostility of his critics reassuring. Challengers run as outsiders, promising change; it's an extraordinary politician who tries this while holding the title Leader of the Free World. Ordinary Presidents have made mistakes and then sought to redeem themselves by admitting them; when Bush was told by some fellow Republicans that his fate depended on confessing his errors, he blew them off. "

OH, OH Looney Liberal Alert

Parenting is supposed to be the domain of parents, except in a liberal secular society.

The Ontario Premier's suggestion gives me the creeps. "... the introduction of character education -- to teach respect, honesty, fairness and responsibility -- would not have prevented a recent spate of violence among Toronto high school students. But it would lead to a more cohesive society." Gee, only four qualities not six or ten? Who chose four? How did they choose four?

It gets worse, "And our responsibility as a government is to -- a bit more formally -- inject that into public education."

The leader of the NDP (of all political parties) tells the liberals off, "People do not want Dalton McGuinty or ......... anyone else telling them how they should raise their kids, what values they should believe in or shouldn't believe in. (The) people's response is: Mr. McGuinty, why don't you keep your own promises rather than tell me what I should do or how I should think or what values I should poses." Ouch! So true!

The liberals in defense say, "It is not about government imposing a set of moral standards." What liars! Or, what idiots!

As The Pandora's Box Opens, The Future Begins to Show

As the highlighted story points out, our Minister of Justice is lying when he says Liberal attempts to alter the constitutionally defined marriage will not harm religious rights. He is also a fool.

I am completely against any attempts to water down and alter the institution of marriage to include 'gay' couples. The gay community has done a great disservice to its 'cause' by manipulating opinion to remake an apple into an orange. The intellectual classes (or those that think they are) use logic, reason, statistics, opinions and short-term thinking to argue for 'gay marriage.' The religious (those true to the Word of God) argue against gay 'marriage' based on scripture. It is clear to me that gay 'marriage' would be a violation of the laws of nature AND a violation of religious and intellectual law.

Brainwashing One Cop At A Time

This pathetic story highlights much of what's wrong within society. Somehow it is supposed to be normal to attend a party where hundreds of participants are nude and where small private rooms are provided to those that wish to alleviate their pent up lust. The 'event' was designed to bring women together, "to have fun and explore sexuality in a safe and supportive environment." Really? It sounds to me like a private orgie to exploit other women and to satisfy the base needs of the group.

The courts didn't like the police intervention, "the defendents' right to privacy had been seriously violated in a situation that involved no urgent police action." (emphasis added)

The Ontario court has now agreed with a Quebec court that private orgies and swingers clubs are okay. All police officers will now have to undergo sensitivity training to teach them that gays are sexual human beings with a unique orientation that forces them to engage in group social events requiring sex. Any police officer that objects to the 'progressive' sensitivity training will be punished.

Sounds like progress? No, it sounds like a dangerous trend.......

Groupthink:
"Groupthink is a term coined by psychologist Irving Janis in 1972 to describe one process by which a group can make bad or irrational decisions. In a groupthink situation, each member of the group attempts to conform his or her opinions to what they believe to be the consensus of the group. This results in a situation in which the group ultimately agrees on an action which each member might normally consider to be unwise."

Canada Corruption Begins at the Border

The best way to maintain a culture of corruption is to recruit. Congratulations to the Liberal Party. Your efforts to diversify the Canadian culture have yielded a like-minded citizen.

Keep your eyes on the big picture boys and girls, more bad news is coming.

"It was scarcely possible that the eyes of contemporaries should discover in the public felicity the latent causes of decay and corruption. This long peace, and the uniform government of the Romans, introduced a slow and secret poison into the vitals of the empire. The minds of men were gradually reduced to the same level, the fire of genius was extinguished, and even the military spirit evaporated. The natives of Europe were brave and robust. Spain, Gaul, Britain, and Illyricum, supplied the legions with excellent soldiers, and constituted the real strength of the monarchy. Their personal valour remained, but they no longer possessed that public courage which is nourished by the love of independence, the sense of national honour, the presence of danger, and the habit of command. They received laws and governors from the will of their sovereign, and trusted for their defence to a mercenary army. The posterity of their boldest leaders was contented with the rank of citizens and subjects. The most aspiring spirits resorted to the court or standard of the emperors; and the deserted provinces, deprived of political strength or union, insensibly sunk into the languid indifference of private life." - Edward Gibbon (History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire)

Our Prime Minister Knows Not What He Thinks

There is an old adage that says that someone that lives in a glass house should never throw stones. By accusing Stephen Harper of political cowardice, the Prime Minister has proven that he is a master of deceit and a champion of political double-talk.

In case he didn't understand the message, the Supreme Court of Canada rebuked the PM for attempting to use the courts to sidestep his government's covert same-sex marriage plans. If anyone can be accused of cowardice, it is the Prime Minister and members of the Liberal Party of Canada.

During the last federal election, the Prime Minister sold his soul to buy extra voters. He lied and used fear to steer voters away from the Conservatives and back to the Liberal trough. His leadership style is moral ambivalence. Our PM should keep his mouth shut. As another old adage says, it is better to be thought a fool than to open ones' mouth and remove all doubt.

Take Your Season's Greetings and Shove It!

Every Christmas I cringe when someone sends me a card that says, Season's Greetings. Television commercials that send warm Season's Greetings leave me cold and uninterested. Banners and store personnel that say Season's Greetings insult my intelligence. Christmas is not a season, it is a religious celebration of the birth of Christ.

Season's Greetings is a statement of religious intolerance, cunningly crafted to appease secular agents. Happy Holidays and Holiday Cards are forms of religious censorship. When someone sends me a holiday card proclaiming season's greetings, I am going to write them back on a tourist postcard that says, summer salute.

RCMP Allegations Are Political Bull Shit !

If I have heard it once, I have heard it a thousand times: the big bad giant tobacco companies conspired to 'steal' tax money. It is pure crap.

Point number one:
The reason there was smuggling of tobacco in the early 1990s was because the average Canadian taxpayer decided to revolt against the government. Smokers were fed up with being used by overspending governments as a pawn in the battle to fill their greedy tax tills.

Point number two:
The average Joe Canadian looked for a 'supply' of cheap cigarettes and entrepreneurial individuals offered to supply. The tobacco companies did what they were forced to do by government; they exported their products knowing that someone would bring them back across the border. I know, and so do thousands of other Canadians.

Point number three:
Government needed to learn a lesson that the tolerance and patience of law abiding citizens could be eroded overnight. But, both the Federal and Provincial governments have not learned that lesson. What they did do is this: they waited out the cigarette rebellion and slowly raised taxes by changing the laws (our freedoms). Sneaky!

Point number four:
The Quebec, Ontario and Federal Governments have resorted to using the courts in a malicious manner in order to strike fear and to demonstrate their power.Shame on the RCMP for wasting time on the government's tax agenda. Our national police would better serve the taxpayers of this country by charging Jean Chretien and most of the Liberal caucus for fraud and corruption instead of chasing a smoking red herring!

"Now wait a minute. You listen to me. I’m an advertising man, not a red herring. I’ve got a job, a secretary, a mother, two ex- wives, and several bartenders dependent on me. A Message 'Liberal' Canada Elites Should Heed Too

The US election was a historic event. But that's besides the point. Despite the bitter hate campaign, biased media interventions and excess rhetoric, the better man won. He won because he connected with the majority of Americans that were fed up with lax moral standards and condescending liberals.

For example, "One need look no further than a recent New York Times survey to see the disconnect. Fully 70 percent of those polled said they were at least somewhat concerned that TV, movies, and popular music are lowering moral standards."

Add to those facts, this example of liberal elitism and you get the whole picture. People were inundated with negative messages that violated their own sense of fairness. Canada's media and liberal elite need to learn the same lessons of the US election. Unfortunately, it may be too late; minority rules the country in more ways than one.

"The hard truth is that what may be acceptable in elite culture may not be acceptable in mass culture, that tastes which pose only innocent ethical issues as the property of a minority become corrupting when they become more established." - Susan Sontag

Self Induced Genocide

There are hundreds of stories of First Nations that beg new solutions that do NOT include pouring more money at the problem.

First, if 35 per cent of Innu children are diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, it is time to start making it a criminal offense to cause serious harm to a child by those mothers that use excess drugs or alcohol while pregnant. Yes, I said criminal offense. It is outrageous that some mothers do not take care of themselves and it is outrageous that these women are knowingly causing harm to their children. Abuse starts in the womb. The abortionists will not agree.

Second, we live in a modern society. The Innu should decide: live like their ancestors did 500 years ago or adapt to reality. No more trying to be part pre-colonial and part modern; it won't work.

Third, if Innu parents can't convince themselves to send their children to school, then they should stop making unreasonable demands to have abundant numbers of Innu teachers. Parents need to parent.

Finally, the Federal Government is responsible for the culture of genocide that exists in many First Nations' communities. They have robbed these people by telling them that their lives need to be managed by the government. They should repeal the Indian Act and replace it with the following statement: All Canadians are equal!

"Liberty means responsibility. That is why most men dread it."- George Bernard Shaw

The Price for Ethnic Votes: National Security Threat

I'm no fan of Immigration Minister Judy Sgro. She represents a lot of what's wrong in Canadian politics; recruiting and advocating minority agendas at the expense of the (majority) national good.

"A NATIONAL security probe has been launched into the office of Immigration Minister Judy Sgro after a senior staffer was quietly fired for suspicion of being a threat to the country, government officials say."

How did he get the job? "...was given a top position because he was a tireless recruiter of South Asians for the Liberal Party of Canada..." Ain't that sweet. If you bring in the ethnic vote, you get a plumb taxpayer supported job.

Canadians love to brag about their values of tolerance (indifference) and openness (not American). After reading how a hospital covered up a stain glass portrait of Saint Luke, Canadians should consider whether ignorance and reticence should be the top Canadian values.

"Respect—not tolerance—must be our goal if we would diminish prejudice in our time. For tolerance is often but a gentle disguise for prejudice: the tolerant often behave as self-appointed connoisseurs of weaknesses in others, or self-appointed protectors of those whom they deem to be their inferiors. Psychologically, there is a strong resemblance between the stridently “tolerant” and the prejudiced." -Selam Hirsch

A Fitting End to Vulgar Art

When news broke out about a 'nativity' scene at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum that used pop and political personalities as the main characters, I was outraged. The nativity scene typified everything that is wrong with our modern liberal society; cheap, vulgar and insulting.

Although I dislike violence in any form, the man that destroyed this cheap art work should be saluted for doing what reasonable men and women refused to do. I hope they take the remaining and broken pieces of wax, melt them down and build something positive.

Millennium Scams More Loot

I am getting fed up with stories from Ottawa about corruption, deceit and cover-up. The latest story irks me to no end. This quote stands out, "where aides were told not to keep a public record in departmental files of the paperwork."

Are public servants sworn to protect and obey the law? Did any of the aides think for one minute that not keeping records was tantamount to aiding and abetting corruption?

I am tired of white collar criminals that operate without fear of the laws the rest of us have to obey. No wonder the Liberal government decided to exempt lawyers from our money laundering laws.

UPDATE: And more tales of white collar corruption- lest we forget.

Religious Intolerance and Its Dangerous Response

Having returned from Church, this article caught my attention. There is something very frightening going on in the world and much of 'our' response is heading in the wrong direction.

"Iqbal Sacranie, of the mainstream Muslim Council of Britain, wants the new law because any “defamation of the character of the prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him)” is a “direct insult and abuse of the Muslim community”. In effect, he is asking for the law of libel to be extended beyond the grave, giving religious belief a protection extended to no other creed or version of history.

Where does all this come from? Not, I fear, from the right, if misapplied, desire for different faiths to live at peace. Incitement to violence, after all, is already an offence, and so it should be. No, the pressure is chiefly from Muslims. If we want to understand its context, we should look at what happens in Muslim societies.

According to Muslim law, believers who reject or insult Islam have no rights. Apostasy is punishable by death. In Iran, Saudi Arabia and Sudan, death is the penalty for those who convert from Islam to Christianity. In Pakistan, the blasphemy law prescribes death for anyone who, even accidentally, defiles the name of Mohammed. In a religion which, unlike Christianity, has no idea of a God who himself suffers humiliation, all insult must be avenged if the honour of God is to be upheld.

Under Islam, Christians and Jews, born into their religion, have slightly more rights than apostates. They are dhimmis, second-class citizens who must pay the jiyza, a sort of poll tax, because of their beliefs. Their life is hard. In Saudi, they cannot worship in public at all, or be ministered to by clergy even in private. In Egypt, no Christian university is permitted. In Iran, Christians cannot say their liturgy in the national language. In almost all Muslim countries, they are there on sufferance and, increasingly, because of radical Islamism, not even on that.

The ancient plurality of the region is vanishing. Tens of thousands are fleeing the Muslim world, and in some countries - Sudan, Indonesia, Ivory Coast - large numbers die, on both sides. In Iraq, the intimidation of Christians is enormous. Five churches have suffered bomb attacks this year. Christians in Mosul have received letters saying that one member of each family will be killed to punish women who do not wear the headscarf. According to Dr Patrick Sookhdeo of the Barnabas Fund, a charity working for persecuted Christians, “Christians in Iraq are isolated and vulnerable this Christmas, and feel that they have been let down, even betrayed, by their fellow Christians in the West, especially the Church leadership”.

The push for a religious hatred law here is an attempt to advance the legal privilege that Muslims claim for Islam."

"Democracy hasn't been in better shape in decades, perhaps ever"

It was 'nice' to read Richard Gwyn's tribute to George W. Bush's legacy. Although, as an avid Toronto Star lefty, he did not mention Bush, there is no doubt that the rise of democracy would not be in the shape it is now without the unwavering determination of Dubya. It is too bad that Gwyn didn't have the courage to give President Bush some credit.

BIASED: Censorship Hides Facts

The taxpayer funded Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is hopelessly biased and needs reform. A case in point is the above linked story about a murdered 'gayman' in Vancouver. Here is the CBC's description, "Webster, 41, was killed three years ago in an area of Stanley Park frequented by gay men."

And here is CTV's version, "Webster was killed in an area frequented by men having anonymous gay sexual encounters. He was found naked except for his hiking boots."

Why would the CBC eliminate a descriptive fact? Having sex in a public place is illegal. Soliciting strangers for anonymous sex is sexual harassment and illegal. The fact is the victim was not an 'innocent' wandering through Stanley Park and admiring the flora and fauna. Nor was he a gayman that was hanging out in area frequented by other gaymen that were admiring the splendor of the park. But some facts get in the way of the 'agenda' to portray gays as innocent victims by evil heteros that hate. An innocent victim is someone who is minding their own business while obeying the law and conducting themselves in a decent manner. Webster was targeted because he was harassing and engaging in public sex.

Killing is wrong. Hiding the truth is wrong too!

First Nations Scam N.B. Nation?

Car drivers are lining up at select gas stations to take advantage of a simmering 'tax' dispute between the New Brunswick and First Nation's government. As always, the issue is about money. He (NB) says they owe 24 million for schooling. She (FN) says that's true but says NB owes 8 million in tax rebates and wants its 8 before it pays their 24. NB says no, we owe them 2 million in tax rebates. Huh?

It's a mess! It is a mess because we allow it.

Canada spends close to 10 (ten) billion dollars a year on aboriginal peoples. Stories of financial mismangement, corruption, poverty, drug abuse and social alienation abound despite the record amounts of money being spent. But please hush. Speaking out about any of the problems will result in you being accussed of being racist or intolerant.

If ALL Canadians are equal, let's start treating everyone equal. But then again, some are more equal than others (it's the Canadian tolerant way).

The Rise of Radical secularism disguised as Liberalism

When Fredericton Member of Parliament Andy Scott made the deciding vote against appealing an Ontario Superior Court decision that permitted same-sex marriage, his vote helped corrupt the Constitution and the rule of law. By refusing to appeal a decision that struck down the original definition of marriage, the justice committee essentially demonstrated the ease of manipulating the law to appease ‘special’ interests and the vote altered our Constitution without using the proper amending formula. Mr Scott, now a member of the Federal Cabinet, can now claim he is duty bound and required to vote with his government. His luck has been his deceit.

The Supreme Court demonstrated its own deceit by ruling on the legitimacy of same-sex marriage, arguing that since the federal government did not appeal earlier lower court decisions, same-sex marriage was now a fait accompli. What the judges are saying is that if enough people break the law and if the government does not stop the practice, then the lawlessness becomes the norm. Worse, the judges have essentially concluded that there are no ‘natural’ limits to marriage; that is to say that polygamy and all other marital constructs will become legal in Canada. Our apathy has been our defeat.

Another issue that continues to haunt apathetic Canadians will be the slow but deliberate erosion of religious rights. By rejecting the Christian heritage of Canada, the Supreme Court declared the country a pluralistic society. Their pronouncements have rendered all legitimate churches vulnerable to future litigation. Our defeat will be rooted in deceit.

Have Times Changed or Has Morality Lost Its Champions?

The following was the Supreme Court of Canada's opinion on marriage in 1995:

"But (marriage's) ultimate raison d'être transcends all of these and is firmly anchored in the biological and social realities that heterosexual couples have the unique ability to procreate, that most children are the product of these relationships, and that they are generally cared for and nurtured by those who live in that relationship. In this sense, marriage is by nature heterosexual. It would be possible to legally define marriage to include homosexual couples, but this would not change the biological and social realities that underlie the traditional marriage"

This is what the court said this week about marriage:

"Several centuries ago it would have been understood that marriage should be available only to opposite-sex couples. The recognition of same-sex marriage in several Canadian jurisdictions as well as two European countries belies the assertion that the same is true today."

Confused? Lawyers and Judges are often accused of speaking mumbo-jumbo. Now they are speaking double-talk.

We need new leadership in Canada, courageous citizens and a new Canadian Constitution that is drafted and proposed by the grassroots not the 'modern' elites.

"The only chance for victory over the brainwash is the right of every man to have his ideas judged one at a time. You never get clarity as long as you have these packaged words, as long as a word is used by twenty-five people in twenty-five different ways. SUPREME DECEIT !

In 1867, one of the many debates and issues agreed upon by the four original Canada partners was the definition of marriage. The soon to be province of New Brunswick, along with Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec agreed that the “lawful union of one man and one woman" would be the definition of marriage. During the confederation meetings, the definition was deliberately established as written with the full knowledge that there were many other types of arrangements that might seek legal standing. Polygamy was one of those possible marriage arrangements. Our founders were not fools and made the wisest decision.

Today's nuanced ‘marriage’ decision by the Supreme of Canada is tantamount to a slap in the face to the moral well-being of the nation and to the dignity of the people of New Brunswick. A lack of a clear answer on a clear question about the Constitutionality of the definition of marriage will allow 'back-door' same-sex marriages. The legality of those marriages have been permitted, not by the Supreme Court but through manipulation of lower courts and the cowardice of our elected representatives.

"Several centuries ago it would have been understood that marriage should be available only to opposite-sex couples. The recognition of same-sex marriage in several Canadian jurisdictions as well as two European countries belies the assertion that the same is true today." The court is telling Canadians that because Holland and Belgium (including the provinces that are currently violating the Constitution) are doing it then we should accept it!

We have been deceived, first by the corrupt Liberal Party of Canada and second by the Supreme Court of Canada.

Oh Canada, Oh My

One can learn a lot about Canada by taking a daily snapshot of the issues of the day and how the country is managed.

First, there is the story about the woman trying to cancel her dead husband's gun registry licence.

Second, there is another report about lax Canadian security. The main words from the report are: lack of staff; lack of controls; lack of co-ordination; toothless; inadequate finances and budgets; vulnerable, soft under-belly; poor planning and preparation. The executive summary of Canada's National Security Plan is, we rely on luck!

Third snapshot of Canada governance is the report on the effectiveness of language training. This brave report reveals the following, "In it he says language training and testing has produced a generation of bureaucrats who worry about passing a test instead of learning a language." Wow, some genius!

And finally. (drum roll please) Canada's urgent priority!!!!!! Key words are; "we expect!" Hmmm. I suspect a con-job by the Minister of Justice!

Who Would Have Thunk it: The Laws of Hate - Outlawing Free Speech

When did governments decide that outlawing 'hate' was important enough to require legislation?

In Britian, as the rise of Islamic fundamentalism causes concerns, the response from the government is to outlaw hatred towards any religion. Again, government is trying to use laws to stop people from voicing their dislike of each other. It is my belief that once we pass laws to outlaw religious hatred, the next step will be to outlaw religion.

In Canada,
the Liberal government passed a controversial amendment to its hate law that included 'gays' in the list of identifinable groups. The rush to include gays was based on fake statistics (isn't it always the way) and a story about a murdered gay man that was the cause-du-jour of the gay community (turns out that the guilty party was gay too). Hmmmmm- fools rush in- blah, blah, blah?

When I first wrote about pot causing psychotic behavior, there was something missing; a 'frontline' example.

Je me Souviens: Facts

When a madman kills, he destroys human life and alters history. The terrible tragedy at the University of Montreal was a 'wakeup' call then and it is a 'wakeup' call today. The response to the murder was tougher firearm legislation that has cost Canada over one billion dollars. Feminist activists have used the tragedy to further an anti-male campaign that argues that Canadian men are violent by nature and that they should feel guilty for being male.

The real problem is we were 'asleep' then and we are 'asleep' today. The gun registry program has become an example of government incompetence and the feminist anti-male campaign has resulted in the feminization of our school system and workplaces. We are worse off today than we were fourteen years ago. Instead of providing a solution to the real problem, we were duped by our emotions into following a path that solved nothing and caused more harm.

I have read many accounts of the Montreal massacre from some of Canada's top journalists. Few have told the whole truth, but some have.

What Martin Won't Admit: Cowards Want Weakened Canadian Army

Prime Minister Paul Martin is a fool. During the June Federal election campaign, he said that he was committed to building and strengthening the Canadian Military. It must have been very embarrassing for him to admit "Our troops are stretched very, very thin" to CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer? Blitzer asked why Canada did not better support the War on Terror by sending more troops.

How many troops are overseas? Not too many, and that is where the problems begin.

What's worse is news from the military themselves. They are so under-staffed that they can't handle new recruits. Part of the problem is that there are too many officers (bureaucracy) and not enough regular members. Another problem is the quality of equipment and the lack of supplies. In the meantime, the bored recruits entertain themselves with drugs. It is time for Canadians to admit reality; they are fake and not capable of doing anything in the world other than say nay.

Canada desperately needs new leadership. After decades of shallow liberalism, the time to act like a real country is now.

Missile Defensiveness or More Canadian Double-Talk?

I am not surprised that President Bush is perplexed by some Canadians and their dislike of the concept of missile defence. What is the concern? Do those people that oppose a strategic missile defence system really think that Iran, North Korea and other hostile nations are not a threat? Let those persons that live in La-La land convince me otherwise. In the meantime, I will support any system aimed at improving our defensive posture.

The latest silo of brain mush on the subject occurred at a Quebec Liberal Party policy conference during the weekend. All the media is a buzz with the news that 'Liberals' voted against the missile defence plan. A statement stands out and requires comment: "It is perhaps by standing up like we did during the war in Iraq that we show that we have our own identity and that we are in favour of the welfare of the entire planet," said former Chrétien lackey, Denis Coderre.

Canada stood up during the War in Iraq? Excuse me, but Canada sat on its hands and played politics and deceit. Canada, the great defender of oppressed people we are not!

We are in favour of the welfare of the entire planet? Oh, my gosh! Aside from the obvious self-delusion that Canada cares about anyone other than themselves, let us remember that Canada has again sat on its hands while genocide occurred in the Sudan.

An amount of deceit, dishonesty and self-delusion can be expected from a brainwashed Quebec population. After all Quebec has mastered the technique of stabbing its neighbours in the back while picking their pockets for cash. Much like the Liberal Party, eh?

Dear Monsieur Coderre,

You are a fool!

Sincerely,

Update On The Slip Of Fools

When I first wrote about this mystery ship, I wondered why the story was not making the national news. Almost one week later, the latest news is coming from Lebanon. There is something very odd about this ship. If the paperwork was complete, why was the cargo not declared? As for the charges that the crew was arrested and detained only because they were Arab, I say that's BS. They broke the law.

Good News!

Some stories never tire. We are a few short weeks from Christmas Eve. Although some 'educated' readers may revolt over a story about Christian roots, I say, what are you afraid of?

Here
is my bias:

"The efficacy of religion lies precisely in what is not rational, philosophic or eternal; its efficacy lies in the unforeseen, the miraculous, the extraordinary. Thus religion attracts more devotion according as it demands more faith,—that is to say, as it becomes more incredible to the profane mind. The philosopher aspires to explain away all mysteries, to dissolve them into light. Mystery on the other hand is demanded and pursued by the religious instinct; mystery constitutes the essence of worship, the power of proselytism. When the “cross” became the “foolishness” of the cross, it took possession of the masses." - Henri Frédéric Amiel

Leadership Good News

We are living in an age when many decisions are acted upon like a script from a politically-correct (PC) handbook. Often, the results of being overtly PC are cynicism and indifference; the gap between decision makers and everyday voters widen. But what this story suggests is that our response to political-correctness should be true leadership.

Feeling Secure: Don't Be!

Weeks ago I posted news that the Liberal Government was cutting the budget of the RCMP and all security related agencies while collecting new taxes for public safety. Now we learn that the RCMP is so understaffed that a terrorist strike could happen without much of a threat from our national police. Disgusting!

To make matters worse, news from a Senate investigation about airport security being lax is more proof that our government is not in control.

Dear Ottawa Liberals,

Please wake up!

Selling: Have Your Cake and Eat it Too!

Currently the province of Quebec holds the distinction in Canada of being the most anti-American, having the strongest anti-Iraq war sentiments and a place where its leaders advocate the wildest liberal policies. Yet, despite all that, the leader of the separatist movement wants closer ties with the USA. Hmmm........I suspect a disconnect between actions and reality?

When you read stories like this potential bomb, perhaps those that want closer ties to the US should start thinking about why Americans are on the front-line of the war on terror and why Quebec is screaming on the sidelines?

If Quebec wants closer ties to the US, it could start by being friendlier.

The Force of Law or the Abuse of Power?

Many years ago I worked with a young woman who was dating a man that had one child from a previous relationship. He was very clear to his new girlfriend; he did not want any more children. She, on the other hand, secretly wanted a child. Her reasons were her own. After several months of dating she became pregnant. Her boyfriend was not happy at all. Their relationship deteriorated before the child was born. He felt that she betrayed their relationship. The acrimony began. A baby was born and a fight escalated between the two parents. She demanded child support and knew that Quebec law placed her in the power role. She dictated his financial future; the law limited his freedom. He became belligerent, angry and dangerous.

When I read stories about a government posting pictures of deadbeat parents (Dads) on the Internet and governments passing laws that could send deadbeat parents (Men) to jail, I remember that couple from Quebec.

There are thousands of stories and thousands of issues surrounding deadbeat parents. Using the word 'deadbeat' is part of the problem. It is too bad that most of the stories paint men as the evil or reckless perpetrator while women are usually portrayed as the victim. Three years ago, I read a story about a B.C. man that committed suicide because the government took away most of his salary and forced him with to live on $600 a month. The government didn't listen to sense then and they are not listening now.

Sending non-criminals to jail is bad government! Developing and hosting a website to humiliate citizens is bad social policy. Using the power of government to dictate a feminist agenda is bias in action.

Perhaps the first step in a change of attitudes towards 'disagreeing' parents is to give men and women equal parenting power; unlike the laws of today that give most of the protection to women and all of the responsibility to men.

Man’s erring judgment, and misguide the mind;

Is pride, the never-failing vice of fools.

Dumb Protesters

One would think that those that protest would be intelligent enough to know the difference between right and wrong? Was liberating a people from tyranny right or wrong? A former Iraqi citizen says it all:

"I came to this country from Iraq," he shouts in staccato bursts. "I have family there. I talk to them all the time. Look at these fools. They have no idea. They are idiots. They are simple babies. The majority of Iraqis are glad Bush liberated them from Saddam Hussein. But, you don't see that on TV, only the terrorist gangsters blowing people up. They don't speak for the people of Iraq.

"My country suffered under that madman. There was no freedom. He tortured and killed our people. Even Prime Minister Martin said the other day that the United Nations should change its policy, that democratic countries should have the right to invade countries with dictators who do genocide and torture their people.

"These people here have never suffered. They make me sick. You are a reporter. You should ignore them or you are a fool too. If Canada was a terrible dictatorship like Iraq was under Saddam, would these people tell Bush no, no, don't invade, we don't want you to give us freedom?"

John Al-Hassani glares at a protester who glares back. The protester's sign says: "Evil Bush Lied To Drag The World To War." Says Al-Hassani under his breath: "In Iraq if he'd said that about Saddam Hussein he'd be taken away and murdered."

Found: 200,000 Pounds of Explosives on Canadian Ship

Are we not at war? I pose that question because there was no mention of this story on any of the major Canadian news networks.

I would think that an arrested Canadian ship with enough undeclared explosives to destroy an entire port city would be top news. Maybe, I'm paranoid or something? But after hearing President Bush speak in Halifax today, I was reminded of the great December 6, 1917
