Despite the bragging about record budget surpluses, Canada continues to lead the world in one arena only: being smug and pretentious while human suffering increases. Instead of trying to show moral leadership, Canada's political class (the Liberal Family Compact) is using the crisis in South East Asia to play leftist technocrat while trying to 'one-up' American contributions.
